I am just moving right along. At this rate I will make my goal of three finished scarves in no time at all.
If you remember, I abandoned my second scarf. So this scarf is technically the 3rd one, but only the 2nd finished one! Dang, I can barely follow that last sentence, I sure hope you could.
I really like they way this one turned out. Since each scare needs to use both yarn colors I decided to finish the edges and ends with a single crochet all the way around and a few extra rose on each end. I like how it it looks.
I have another scarf already underway…
This is a link to my 1st finished scarf
Are any of you working on a knit (or crochet) project?
Sincerely, Emily
Admiring your work from afar. I like the borders very much, not only decorative but functional as it stops them curling up maybe? Not quite warm enough for scarves here yet in the daytime, but temp dropping away at night 🙂
Thanks! Funny thing… The 2nd scarf ends didn’t curl – yet I did the border. The 1st scarf has curling ends, but I think it will be too wide if I add a border. I might end up doing the border anyway. I have figured out the best way to block it into shape. Not cold enough for scarves here in Texas yet either. Not really as necessary as it was when I grew up in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Brrrr!
I think it looks great. Soon you will be making them in your sleep 😉
Hey there, Emily,
Trying to get in touch with you via email. Hope to hear from you soon!
Jennifer
