Yesterday was the cut off date to sign up for the Dark Days Challenge. If you missed the cut-off please follow along over at NDIN and put a note on your calendar to remind yourself to sign up next year.
If you go to NDIN, there is a tab at the top of the page specially created for the Dark Days Challenge. We have created a master list broken down by region, and added links to each of the participants blogs.
I am the leader for the “South” Region. This region has participants from Georgia (1), Maryland (2), North Carolina (4), South Carolina (2), and Virginia (6).
I am looking forward to this challenge and hope we will all learn things from each other and share resources to finding more and more local and sustainable food sources in each of our areas.
Here is a list of the participants in The South Region. Check out what they are each up to as we all go through this challenge. There are a few participants that do not have blogs and will be posting their progress on the comments over at NDIN.

Since there are over 120 participants, we have divided the regions into and East and a West for recapping. The first detailed recap for the South region will be on NDIN on Sunday, December 11th with the East group. The following Sunday the West group will do their recaps. Every other week when I am not recapping on NDIN, I have decided to do recaps for the South regions here on my personal blog. That way we can continue to see what each participant in our region is up to.
You can also following along Twitter and Facebook. Just head over to NDIN and you will see the links along the right sidebar.
