Making Cards

This past weekend I had a group of ladies at the house to make cards. A friend came over one day last week and we designed and put together mock-ups of the cards for display. Then I spent hours and hours (and more hours and hours) cutting all the paper to size for each card.

One of the stamping stations ready for action

I cleared the kitchen counters (not a small task at all!) to set up stamping stations for each of the seven cards. You can see two of the sample cards at that station above.

The work table

I cleared off the table, (another large task!) added another leaf and set up a paper placemat for each lady where they could set their stamped papers to dry. The table was all the supplies needed to put their cards together: double-stick tape and ribbon and foam dots. There was also another set of the made up cards for them to use as a reference.

This craft group gets together once a month to do herb-related (sort of) crafts. I tried to keep the cards herb or at least garden related.

After our stamping and card making, we all sat down to lunch. Everyone brings food, and as always, everything was G O O D !

a plate full!

Sincerely, Emily
