I originally posted this handmade challenge back in February 2012, but had no one comment, so I am posting it again.
I have been seeing the Handmade Pay It Forward Challenge going around on a few blogs, but I was always too late to get in on the fun. I was able to get in on it over at Tom’s blog Worms-a-crawling Farm and be one of his “5” !!
Here are some details on what this is all about.
As part of the Hand Made Pay It Forward 2012, I hereby pledge to send something hand made by me to the first five people who leave comments and also pledge to “pay it forward”
Be one of the first five people to leave a comment that you want to be in my “five” & I will send you something I have handmade by the deadline. (Since I am re-posting this so late in the year- still trying to get my “five,” I am going to change it up a bit and push my deadline to January 31, 2013.)
- Then on your blog, post about the challenge to “Pay it Forward” and get your own “5” who comment and them send each of them a handmade item made by you.
- It doesn’t matter what you make, but YOU must make it – small, large, simple, complex
- You have plenty of time to send off your handmade things – You have to pledge to send our your handmade item by Dec, 31 2013 – but don’t wait that long, dive right in and get it done.
I hope that there are five people out there who want to participate and have some fun!
Let’s hear it for the 2012 Handmade Pay it Forward Challenge! Let’s keep it going and head into 2013 Handmade Pay it Forward Challenge!
Update: 9 Jan 2013 – I have my “five” already !!
Sincerely, Emily
Emily, I’d love to participate but I don’t have a blog to get other people to join in. Would putting it on facebook work? If so, this is my official yes, to wanting to participate!
I am thrilled you want to participate – yes, by all means – facebook would be a neat way to keep it going and pay it forward.
You are #1
I will play with you!
and I will pledge to pay it forward – working on that now!
Michelle – you are #2 – YIPPEE!
YAAAAA!!!!!

HI!! I am in the same spot with having no blog. I would love to participate,
Kirsten! Hi Hello How are ya!!! Have you been out there reading the whole time?
I will go in and revise my post, because these are good questions. Without a blog, I would only ask that you still pay it forward and make something to gift to 5 other people. You could spread the word by mouth and see if they wanted to participate or just tell them about it when you give them your handmade gift. If you are active on facebook, that would be another way too.
You are #3
Can I will play with you? 😀 I will also pledge to pay it forward!
Sure Elisabeth! I am thrilled you are interested in playing along. Do you have a blog? or how will you pay it forward? (just wondering) I know two of the others participating have had great success posting about it on Facebook. What part of the world do you live in?
You are #4 (our of my 5)
Emily,
I might be too late, but if you don’t have your 5 people for the Pay it Forward Challange I would love to play. I do have a blog that I have not kept up very well, but I am setting a goal for 2013 to “make it happen”. I had a friend who posted this challenge on Facebook but I missed being in her five.
Thanks,
Danna
Hi Danna. Thanks for your comment. What part of the world are you from? How will you pay it forward? Posting on your blog or facebook. The link you used to comment (http://pinklemonaidideas.blogspot.com) doesn’t go anywhere. Can you give me a link that works? Thanks
Sorry Emily,
The link is http://pinklemonadeideas.blogspot.com. I am in Texas and I would be posting the pay it forward on the above blog.
Hi Danna! Texas! Me too. I am down near San Antonio. I am thrilled you want to play along and you are #5. I will email you with a few questions and hopefully get my handmade gifts mailed out in the next few weeks! I am working on them right now!!
